Do you have a studio?
Yes I do! I am located in Narre Warren North and have everything you need for a successful session.
Are you insured?
Yes. I have public liability and business insurance.
Do you have a WWC?
Yes, I do.
Can siblings & parents be included in the session?
Yes, Yes, Yes!! I think family photos are too important not to be taken!!
Do you charge more for twins?
No. Parents with twins already have additional costs, so I would never add to those costs!
What is a good age to photograph newborns?
Between 5-14 days of life is ideal for those nudie, sleepy and curly images, as babies tend be less easily disturbed when being moved. However in saying that, if things don’t go well during birth or you don’t think about photos until your baby has arrived, we can still get beautiful images at any age! The main differences are that your baby may not be able to curl up as much or like being nudie!
What is a good age to photograph a cake smash?
It all depends on what you would like to use the images for. Some clients prefer to use the session to mark their baby’s 1 year milestone, so photograph as close to their birthday as they can. Other clients prefer to use the images for invitations and decorations at the 1st birthday party. If the is what you would like, I would suggest 10 months of age to allow enough time to get everything organised!
What if my child is shy?
That is no stress at all! All sessions have time to allow for extra cuddles, songs, laughter to allow your child to feel comfortable in a new environment.
Do you think about safety?
Yes, Yes, Yes!!! Safety is my NUMBER ONE PRIORITY! Be prepared for yourself or your partner to be on ‘spotting’ duty! If I ever think a baby or child is/will be unstable, I always organise someone to be close to the child, while I photograph.
What happens if there is a toilet accident?
There is no need to stress about that! It’s unusual if a newborn or baby doesn’t have an accident during my sessions! Everything is washable!!
What do I need to bring?
I will have everything here for your session, unless discussed prior. Some items that are regularly required include:
- - nappy bag
- - bottles
- - dummy
- - snacks (for older babies)
- - sibling outfits
- - parent outfits
- - for some baby sessions, I usually suggest to bring along some favourite outfits so that we can photograph those as well
What if I need to reschedule my session?
Rescheduling is more than fine, as I understand sickness and life problems can happen. However, I do require 48 hours notice. This is to allow the clients access to your session. If there is less than 48 hours notice, you will need to pay an additional $150 deposit.
Do I need to select my Digital Collection before my session?
Yes. As session lengths vary and to allow for a smooth session, I need to have my workflow prepared for you. Longer sessions require more set ups, while shorter sessions require less.
Can I purchase additional digital images?
Yes! If there are additional digital images in your gallery, they can be purchased for $15 each. You will get both the Colour and Black & White version of each additional image selected.
Do you offer a printing service?
Yes, Yes, Yes! This, I feel is so important. The professional printers that I use are based in Australia and create quality, handmade products, with great warranties. By using a professional printer, you will receive printed products with a much more accurate colour and finish.
Print products include: prints, framed prints, floating framed canvas, acrylic prints, albums & birth announcements. Please visit the Printed Products page or use the Contact form if you have further questions.
How can I pay?
You can pay online via direct debit and credit card, or cash during your session.
Do you have payment plans?
Yes, Yes, Yes! I offer personalised payment plans. I’d hate for someone to miss out on creating beautiful memories because of hardships. My payment plans are interest free and I work with you to figure out what works best for you. The 2 questions I ask are:
- - Would you like to pay weekly or fortnightly?
- - How much can you afford?
Once that’s been answered, I work out the repayments to suit.
How can I make a booking?
You have a few options to make a booking:

- - Online booking form
When booking a contract, questionnaire and $150 deposit are required to confirm your session/booking.
What happens after the session?
You will receive a private, password protected online gallery 2-3 weeks after your session. Once you have viewed your gallery, I will work with you to help select the images included in your Digital Collection, as well as help design prints and albums for your home.
Do I get copywrite to my images?
Yes, Yes, Yes! You have paid for the images, so they are yours to use for whatever you need!
Will you share on social media?
Yes. I will share an untagged ‘sneak peek’ within 24-48 hours of your session so that you can see something before your gallery is ready. It is also a great way for my business to survive by showing new clients what is on offer. However, if you do not wish for me to share on social media, I will totally respect your choice!
PRODUCT & STOCK
How can I purchase a gift voucher?
Yes, Of course. Our gift vouchers are available either in our studio, or though our online store. All of our gift vouchers have an expiry of 12 months. If you don’t think you will use it before the expiry date, please contact us before it expires.
Why have I received an email saying the item I've ordered is out of stock?
At Bec Gordon Photography, we will always endeavour not to run out of stock, but in the rare situation that our stock figures are incorrect, you will receive an email advising you that we are out of stock. In this situation you will always have the option of a full refund or we can change it for another product of your choice to the same value.
How can I find a specific product or brand?
Please use the search function which is located at the top of your screen when you are in the online store. If you cant find the product you are after, I would encourage you to contact Bec Gordon Photography and we will endeavour to source it for you.
Do you offer a wholesale discount for bulk buying?
Yes absolutely, we have wholesale prices on specific products in our range. If you are interested in wholesale please contact us at Bec@becgordonphotography.com.au and we will provide you with the wholesale pricing along with the T&C’s
I've forgotten the account password, how do I reset it?
How can I make changes to the details on my account?
If your details have changed, please ensure you update when checking out so we can make sure there are no delays in delivering your products.
Why aren't I receiving emails or newsletters from you?
At Bec Gordon Photography, we don’t want to spam you with emails. We will only send our newsletters and latest offers out to our customers that have subscribed. If you would like to subscribe please do so at the bottom of the page.

All orders will be shipped within 2 Business days. Delivery time frame is estimated between 2-5 workings days (within Australia) and in some cases up to 10 working days (eg. Bec Gordon Photography are not to be held responsible for late deliveries or loss or damage relating to late deliveries.
Incorrect address or returned parcels
If Bec Gordon Photography is unable to deliver your parcel due to an incorrect delivery address, or if the parcel is returned to us as undelivered, postage will be charged again for your parcel to be posted.

We would like to make it as easy as possible for all our customers, that why we have multiple different payments options for you. You can use credit card, PayPal and even cash in studio.
